Signatures on the Shore

Holding knobs on either side; wondering who should pull,
Looking thru a shattered Glass; from hurts and abuse.
Working hard to tip the scales for freedom to misuse,
Throwing dirt into the air; as helpless eyes watch the feud

Cho:
Walked the aisle to make the vows
When two hearts joined by Love's strong chord
To  last the wind, the sea, the cold,
Unlike signatures on the shore

Hanging to a brittle dream; Looking for support
Teary eyed and starring in; to a future unknown,
Searching thru the broken heap; for a faint of hope
Wishing time would heal the drift; and restore this home

Walked the aisle to make the vows
When two hearts joined by Love's strong chord
To  last the wind, the sea, the cold,
Unlike signatures on the shore

Bridge:
To let go and start again,
To Love the love that caused the pain,
To let Love rebuild and regain,
The trust that sought this marriage.

Bicycle Ride

One foot up sends one foot down the pedal

As I ride into the early hours of day

The sun light laces the horizon

As a new day breaks a night of yesterdays

All around I see few sleepy faces

Some bright as the sun, some lost in gloom of nay

They ask me “tell me if there is a better tomorrow

Where we’ll be no longer slaves or faced to shame

Tell me if I’ll live a day without the harrows

When I’ll sing a happy song with you in the rain”

We see others just as we see colors

Some we care, and some we cannot bother

But life is more than those pretty faces

There’s more to care as we perceive the need to share

Don’t nip the hopes of another budding story

Every flower takes time to bloom and bring some cheer

This is a time to wake better tomorrows

Where there’ll be no slaves or faces down in shame

There will be those days without the painful harrows

When we’ll sing together riding in the rain

To every picture, there’s a story told

To every life that breathes is a God who watches over

One foot up sends one foot down the pedal

As I ride into the early hours of day

The sun’s light has chased the darkness

Into another day of grace, I’ll ride today :)

Welcome from afar

Tired of trying what you can't measure,
Calloused hands just brings a tear,
Hoping for a cloud beneath the blue
At the brink to tarry without a clue

Like the morning light in the dead of night
welcomed from afar
Like the portrait in an artist's mind
Welcomed from afar
Like a piece of wood in a craftsman's hand
Welcomed from afar
Is faith promising the Father's Plan
welcomed from afar

He was the least of the weakest clan,
For Gideon God did have a plan,
He hadn't seen rain to know from where it came
Only Noah's ark saw the light of day

A galling thought can quench the spark
That feeds on persistence to last
Being sure of the unseen,
Is faith that rests on weakened knees

This song was inspired by Hebrews 12:13 " All these people were still living by faith when they died. They did not receive the things promised; they only saw them and welcomed them from a distance..."

Arms Of Christ

As He eyes the dawn of morn,
He sighs this calm wont be long,
His faith stops at a broken wall
When will his unseen fetters fall

Give him a reason for the skies,
Show him the hands where the world lies,
If we don't rise to hear his cries,
When will he see the arms of Christ?

Hidden chains hold her arrest,
Fear defeats her freedom's quest,
Her yesterdays haunt today's unknown
How long will her justice condone

Give her a reason for the skies,
Show her the hands where the world lies,
If we don't rise to hear her cries
When will she see the arms of Christ?

His are the hands that healed the sick,
That bends the bow and breaks the shield,
Yet pierced by nails so we could live,
And share the joy of liberty

Give them a reason for the skies
Show them the hands where the world lies,
If we don't rise to hear their cries,
Wen will they see the arms of Christ?

This is a song I wrote to encourage the church to take a stand against human trafficking and get involved in rehabilitating victims of human trafficking (child labour, bonded labour, sex trafficking)

Wake up!!! Smell the Coffee

You've got all what you need before you,
To walk, to talk, to guide you,
To see what lies ahead,
To make it over the hedge,
To keep you from slipping
To pick you up if you falling

Wake up!!! smell the coffee
Faith is the key, get on your knees
Wake up!!! smell the coffee
Straighten you back, move your feet
Wake up!!! smell the coffee
Take a stand, move beyond your dream

The sky stares bare above you,
each star an easy picking,
The world is spread before you,
each step a history making,
Look out the clock is ticking,
the ground beneath wont start moving

Gather the corn when its still ripe,
Sharpen the rod when its still hot,
mould the clay when its still wet,
don't wait for the sun to set.
